The Cres and Lošinj archipelago has numerous facilities which provide its guests with the option of an  active holiday. In addition to entertainment and cultural events this archipelago offers its guests many bays in the beautiful countryside due to its well-indented coast,  well worth visiting!

Visiting cultural sights and beautiful natural landscapes are favourite holiday activities, so the islands of Cres and Lošinj are the right destination for you. Campsite Čikat is an excellent starting point for all your activities.

Lošinj – an island with endeless promanades & foothapths

Since the campsite is situated on the coast and the island of Lošinj is known for its seafront promenades, set out on a journey along with swaying trees and the sounds of the sea. The islands of Cres and Lošinj have more than 220 km of promenades, from easy walking to more difficult paths for active recreation.

Excursions

Seeing cultural landmarks and visiting various locations within your tourist destination are favorite holiday activities. By visiting the island of Lošinj and Camp Čikat, you have certainly chosen the right starting point for your excursions.
There is a dedicated excursions booth in the campsite (at Aquapark Čikat square) where our staff will give you as  much information as possible about excursion choices.

Sport and entertainment 

The camp and its immediate surroundings provide many sport and entertainment options that will delight you. In the campsite you can play football, basketball, tennis or volleyball, badminton, beach volley or table tennis in the camp. In the campsite there is a Bike point where you can rent a bike or e-bike and explore the island on the biking tracks circling all around the island.
In the campsite there is also entertainment for children where young members of the family will surely have much fun. 

Beaches

The coast of the island of Lošinj is well-indented and has numerous beaches that will leave everyone breathless. In the campsite there are three pebble areas between the rocky beach with paved areas for sunbathing. Along the beach you can find Silver bay, a Mediterranean bar offering  drinks or have  lunch or dinner. Above one of the bays there are entertainment and sports facilities. 
Since Cres & Lošinj are two islands connected with a drawbridge there are a lot of public and wild beaches reachable on both islands.


Don’t miss the Apoxyomenos statue!

While staying at Camp Čikat, make sure you find time to visit the new Apoxyomenos Museum (link to museum website) in Mali Lošinj city centre, dedicated to the 2000 year old statue of this ancient Greek athlete.
